Sean Pohjalainen

Current co-founder of Reveler, a sports tech startup unifying the best of digital and physical communities, worlds, and events to enable new kinds of fan experiences whether IRL or in the metaverse. For most of the prior decade I was a front office quantitative analyst, strategist, and developer working on derivatives trading desks at Merrill Lynch (portfolio management, structured credit, etc) where surprising parallels exist between modern quant finance/markets and the seemingly distant, less developed state of the sports tech market Reveler operates in today (Web3.0, markets, complex real-time systems, etc).

I received my degree from Georgia Tech in Computer Science with particular focus on computational modeling algorithms, information internetworks, and applied math.
